One of my New Year rituals is to install a fresh wall calendar. While it's time to say goodbye to 2009, that doesn't necessarily mean that the old calendar ends up in the trash.
I'm turning this 2009 calendar from blah...
... to Tada!
A page from the calendar works perfectly as gift wrap for small to medium sized presents.
No tags needed...just mark the recipient's birthday as a red letter day & add a sweet little note.
May you all start the first week of the New Year with a high note!
this is adorable. a great idea to take advantage of when all of the 2010 calendars go on super sale, too! i personally couldn't use this idea with an actual old calendar, because for most months because i mark up my calendars with appointments and events and whatnot.
You are one very crafty lady. I don't know where all your fabulous inspiration comes from but I'm glad you can channel it and it materializes on your blog here. LOVE this idea.
Happy New Year Kathryn, Susan, Eternal Voyageur, Disney, Crystal, Jessi, Alamodestuff, Ohbrooke and Brandi! Wow, knowing that you guys liked this idea will keep me smiling all day!
what a great idea! I have all of my calendars from the past 4 or 5 years b/c my friends and family have given me Audrey Hepburn calendars (love her!) I'm hoping to one day use my favorite of the pictures to frame, or create a collage or decoupage something.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing this with us.
