Before and After.

You've heard 'em before. My version is blah to TADA! This is my little corner in blogland where I rescue things destined for the trash (blah), give them an instant make-over and, TADA!, they're useful again.

  

Many calendars ago, I authored a weekly newspaper column with the same concept. It was called "Cheap Thrills". In each article, I featured five different ways to bring new life into something old. I really had fun styling the photos and writing it. Plus, it was a good exercise in innovation and creativity, I couldn't help but continue it through this blog. Every week, I have a theme or a specific "blah" which I then transform into a "TADA!".

What I do here is a reflection of some of my personal mantras:

• Be kind to the environment
• You don't have to spend a lot of money to be happy
• There's always room for second chances
• Think outside the box
• It's never too late to learn something new
• Pursue your passions

When I'm not crafting, writing or taking pictures, I put on my most comfortable shoes and go on adventures. Here's what I like to do:

Hunting around markets, whether flea, flower, 
food or craft. I'm an equal opportunity 
market enthusiast!  

Indulging in a cappuccino with gorgeous latte art or
a rich hot chocolate (with marshmallows of course).

Traveling and seeing a city through
the eyes of a local.
