Fresh Scents

Let me say that I've got a little crush.
On a bottle.

I love it for its wholesome curves.
I love how it makes me feel grown up
and nostalgic at the same time.

And I love it for the many ways I can turn it
from blah to...

TADA! -- today, it's a fragrance diffuser that
can sit in the powder room
and
make it smell like the beach.

I transferred some reeds (sticks) and
fragrance oil from an existing diffuser.

Didn't mother tell us to share?

Have a fun & fabulous weekend!

Sparkly Dishes

I hope you're all having a lovely week!

Today, I've got another idea to turn this

shapely bottle from blah to TADA!

Clean it inside and out.

Add a soap pump (recycled from an empty lotion bottle)
and pour in some dish soap.

Why pour, when you can pump?
Happy cleaning!

Haute Chocolate!

Today, may I suggest another idea
on how to turn this bottle...

...from blah to TADA!

Turn it into a gift!

Fill it with hot chocolate & marshmallows.
Dress it up and offer it to a friend.
All she needs to do is add warm milk.

Hot. Sweet. Smiles guaranteed.

Milk or Cream?

This blah glass bottle is getting a
make-over this week.

TADA! Turn the bottle into a creamer!
Doesn't it remind you of glass milk
bottles of old?

Fill it with milk, half & half or soy milk...whatever
you fancy.

Or have the above choices for guests at a dinner party. Label appropriately and they'll praise you as the thoughtful host who didn't miss a single detail!

Caffeine in a Bottle

Happy Monday & happy First day of March!

This week, we'll turn this drink bottle
from blah to TADA!

Peel off the sticker labels, replace the cap with a cork and TADA! -- it makes storing kitchen staples chic and cheerful.

Use it for beans, grains or rice and
add
a name tag.

How pretty these would look
on your
shelf or kitchen window!

Dining with Denim

This week, I took Susie's challenge to transform
old jeans from blah to TADA!

I admit, I made mostly things to wear.
Today, let's take the denim into the dining room!

After a thorough washing,
turn the denim into coasters!

For double fun, use denim on one side and a printed
fabric (your fabric scraps will be willing volunteers)

on the other side.

It's a cute way to avoid beverage stains
on
your precious tables!

I wish you all a happy weekend!

Inspiration: Denim

Denim, no matter how old, is a wonderful canvas
to create something
TADA!

An article in Elle Magazine inspired me to make
a few Tada! accessories out of blah denim.

Some delicate, dangly earrings.

A sweet, sublime necklace.

A courageous cocktail ring!

I hope I've inspired you to make your
own denim accessories!
