This week on blah to Tada!, we're using some common school supplies to organize our home and office.
Does this look familiar? It's a stack of instruction manuals from the electronics and appliances we've purchased through the years.Okay, many of us don't really read them so they're either stuck in the box or stashed away somewhere where they can never be found (especially when we need them). Why not gather them togetherin a central location?
Like in this binder perhaps?
Just add clear sleeves and insert an instruction manual in each slot.
That way, when you need to troubleshoot, the manual is easy to find.
Store receipts and warranty cards as well, in case youneed to replace your machines.
Thanks for your comment on Pinecone Camp Claire. Love this idea for organizing instruction manuals. The other day we tore apart our house looking for the tv manual. Mad Men was coming on, but the tv wasn't it! have a great day.
Indeed, a huge improvement. Already my mind feels more peaceful after reading a few of your blog entries; imagine the effect if I were to actually put them into practice.
BEST IDEA EVER (right now mine are shooved in to an exploded accordian file, along with my taxes, birth certificate, etc... probaly not the best idea!)
I love this. I have a binder for my recipes but the manuals are in an unattractive simple folder in a box. Worst of all, when I need one I have to look through the whole thing to find it. Thank you, I'm off to buy a cute one like yours :D
Very simple logic! How come it often never occurs to anyone to do this?!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the tip Curious Cat! Thanks for visiting =) Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteI have a binder for those as well. It's not as pretty as yours, but everything is alltogether for troubleshooting!
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful Dolce! =)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going to have to be a little bit more organised!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming over Miss Kickcan & Conckers!
