This week, I'm recycling these blah wire hangers:

And like yesterday's project,
they're going from the closet to the garden.

TADA! I turned the wire hanger into a
plant stake.

They act as a support to keep my tomato plants
from drooping as they grow.
I "tie" the body of the plant to the
stake with twisty ties -- you know, those
wire thingies that keep cords {electronics}
bundled up.
See you tomorrow!
Lovely planter you have there.I love white planters.Eagerly waiting for the next ideas too.

Hi Sumi! I got the planters at Ikea :) Planting tomatoes & herbs are on my To Do list this summer...I've killed a few herbs (boo!) but the tomatoes are still alive (and very sweet I must say).
ReplyDeleteHi there Alison! Thanks for checking out my blog today!
I'm really glad you posted this because I was thinking of going out to buy something to hold my tomato plant up. I never even thought of hangers. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you can use this idea Miss Destined for Now! Happy gardening :)
